full season farm crewWe are hiring 3-4 full time farming positions which include housing at the farm. This position runs from June 1st through October 31st. Expect to work 40-55 hours a week, depending on time of year. This is an on-farm job including but not limited to tasks such as seeding in the greenhouse, prepping beds for planting, planting in the field and high tunnels, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, preparing whole sale orders, packing for the farmer's markets. Hourly wage, housing/utilities included, at least one full day off a week, and all the fresh vegetables one could eat.

farmer's marketWe do two farmer's markets in Portland each week. Wednesdays at Monument Square and Saturdays in Deering Oaks. Ideally this person would live in the Portland area. This position would start in June and go through September. Hours 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Duties include helping set up the stand, selling vegetables, and packing up at the end of the day. Hourly wage and lots of vegetables to take home.

peak season crewWe are also hiring 1 or 2 people from July 1 to September 30 for the height of the growing season. This does not include housing. Expect to work 40 hours a week over a four day work-week. This is an on-farm job including but not limited to tasks such as seeding in the greenhouse, prepping beds for planting, planting in the field and high tunnels, weeding, harvesting, washing and packing vegetables, preparing whole sale orders, packing for the farmer's markets. Hourly wage and all the veggies you can eat.
